Pramono Supports Action Against Thuggery in Jakarta"This event was held to improve the performance of the PPSU in Jakarta," said Pramono, Wednesday (4/15).
According to the Governor, the case of manipulation of public complaint follow-up involving the PPSU in Kalisari, East Jakarta, has tarnished Jakarta's image and public trust in the Jakarta Provincial Government. Therefore, Pramono stated that firm action has been taken against those involved.
He also emphasized that to prevent such cases from recurring in Jakarta, the Jakarta Provincial Government will improve the system and governance for following up on public complaints to make them more efficient and transparent.
Pramono emphasized that public reports and complaints are important assets for the Jakarta Provincial Government to make improvements to achieve transparent and open governance.
"I ask that you no longer just provide or please your leaders, but do real work in the field," he stated.
Nevertheless, Pramono praised the Jakarta Provincial Government's performance during his first year in office, which has seen Jakarta grow even better. This is evident in various growth indicators.
"In this year, all the indications have actually improved, including the most important ones, namely the global city index, safest cities, transportation infrastructure, and so on," he continued.
